HeadSets911 was founded by
T.P. McAtamney, an APCO Certified Dispatcher who served over 10 years in
the emergency dispatching field. He is also an established platform
instructor with more than ten- years experience. He is the author of the free booklet, "Stress and the Dispatcher - Surviving
the Console".
He has presented Stress and the
Dispatcher" to Dispatchers all across the country, showing them that they are
not alone, that someone does understand, and that they can learn to cope. He
has also spoken at both annual APCO and NENA Conferences on the subject of
Dispatcher Stress and Retention. He is quickly becoming the
"Dispatcher Retention" expert and will be speaking at many more
venues in 2008.
Mr. McAtamney
combines his experience, along with common sense and humor to bring sound
principles of stress management that address the unique stressors 911
Dispatcher's face. This is more than just another seminar., and it is not a
lecture.
Mr. McAtamney likes to call
"Stress and the Dispatcher" a "camp
meeting" with your dispatchers. So they will leave this seminar with more than
just a diploma. They will have pro-active tools to help them cope with the
stresses of emergency dispatching.
Our program can also be presented
to those in other high-stress occupations such as Rail Road Dispatchers,
Air-Traffic Controllers, Emergency Room personnel, EMS Workers, and Police
Officers. Just call us (954)
