ARMANDO GARCIA Obituary (2022) – Fort Wayne, IN

ARMANDO GARCIA, 64, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home. Born August 14, 1957 in Fairfield, California, he was the surviving son of the late Ernesto Garcia and the late Dora Garcia. He worked at American Landmaster until his retirement in 2020. In his spare time, he was a sports enthusiast and loved the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Hoosiers, and Indianapolis Colts. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and making memories. Armando is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jennifer Garcia; sons, Adan (Celia) Dominguez, Armando “Ditto” (Amy) Garcia, Amanda (Shawn) Fisher, Lucas Garcia and Jacob Garcia; siblings, Herlinda (Perry) Leitch, Marie (Steve) Goldsmith, Pedro (Esther) Garcia and Theresa Juillerat; and his mother, Dora Garcia. He also leaves several grandchildren to cherish his memory; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Snyder, Matthew (Heidi) Snyder, Michael (Kelly) Snyder and Kevin (Caren) Snyder; and her in-laws, Louis and Sharon Snyder. Armando was predeceased by his father, Ernesto Garcia; sister-in-law, Denise Snyder; and his nephew, Christopher Juillerat. Christian Funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at St. John the Baptist, New Haven, with roll call one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Interment at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New Haven, Ind.
