News — JMIR Publicationspublisher of over 30 open access titles, today received the updated Impact Factors (IF) and Emerging Source Citation Indexing (ESCI) for calendar year 2022 from Clarivate Journal Citation Reports (JCR).

The flagship journal Journal of Internet Medical Research, has grown by more than 30% to an FI of 7.08 in 2022 and continues to maintain its historical position in the first quartile (Q1) of the subject categories “Medical Informatics” and “Healthcare Sciences and Services”. . The Journal of Medical Internet Research also saw its Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) increase to 1.67. Journals with a JCI above 1.5 have a citation impact 50% higher than the average for their category.

In addition, JMIR Public Health and Surveillance saw the biggest increase in impact factor, among JMIR publications titles, with an impressive increase of 254% to 14.56. The journal ranks in the first quartile (Q1) of the “Public, environmental and occupational health” category in the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE).
